With all of the other vastly more important things that the US Senate should be passing, this one is a gem if it encourages people to write: http://www.ncte.org/dayonwriting. On Oct. 8, the US Senate passed a resolution declaring October 20 as the National Day on Writing. You may submit stories, poems, recipes, emails, blogs, even audio, video and artwork. Will be fascinating to see what is submitted. Kinda like opening an early Christmas present. LOLAnyway, just thought all you writers would like to know.
